I don't just paint the ocean. I crossed it. Twice. At 21, I left everything behind for a one-way ticket to New Zealand. I later sailed from New Zealand to Fiji. From Spain to Antigua. I lived in Thailand and went on a safari in South Africa. I traveled to 25 countries in 8 years. Met my dream captain - who became my husband. The ocean shaped who I am today. Now I translate that freedom into statement art for people who refuse to live small.
